When Grace moved into the house a few blocks up from me in 6th grade, I was mad.
My friend had lived in that house prior, and Grace and her family, in my eyes, had kicked them out. Fast forward a few short months, and Grace and I were inseparable. We lived exactly 200 steps away from one another (trust me, we counted) and spent almost every day after school swimming, singing, gossiping (as middle schoolers do), practicing our clarinets (HAH, yeah right), and generally being attached at the hip.
We went on to meet Bri and Bailey, and the four of us quickly became what we like to refer to as the "Fantastic Four." When we graduated college, we all went our separate ways, but stayed in touch as if nothing had ever changed.
I knew from the beginning he was someone important in Grace's life. Though they were only friends for the first 2 years of their relationship, I could tell by the way Grace talked about him that he was someone special. When they started dating, it was a no brainer. Their goofy and sassy personalities fit together like pb+j, and everyone around them can feel an air of ease and comfort when they are present. They are perfect for each other.
When Andy proposed this Christmas, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. It's about time! Although we knew they would be together forever, regardless of a ring or wedding.
Like I said, perfect.
We can't wait to photograph more of your love on your wedding day, Grace + Andy! Thank you for sharing your joy with us.
